PrunTube operates under a strict Zero-Server Data Retention Policy. We do not require account registration, login credentials, email addresses, or personal identifiers to access any part of our service.

Our architecture is completely stateless on the server side. We do not maintain databases of user activity, IP logs, or browsing histories on our hosting servers.

2. 18+ Age Requirement & Self-Responsibility for Search Queries (免責事項・自己責任の原則)

2. Client-Side Browser Storage Usage

To deliver essential functionality (such as preference saving, age verification, and ad frequency control) without server-side tracking, we utilize standard browser storage APIs:

A. localStorage (Persistent Client-Only Data)

Data stored in localStorage remains in your browser until manually cleared. It is never transmitted to our servers:

  • Age Gate Confirmation: Stores boolean status confirming you have verified legal age compliance.
  • UI & Language Preferences: Remembers your display language and interface theme toggles.
  • Favorites List: Stores up to 50 bookmarked video IDs locally on your device.
  • Watch History Cache: Maintains a recent watch list locally for convenient navigation.
  • Ad Frequency Timestamps: Tracks timestamps of ad impressions strictly to enforce frequency caps (preventing excessive ad popups).

B. sessionStorage (Ephemeral Session Data)

Data in sessionStorage is automatically erased when you close your browser tab:

  • Session Blacklist Cache: Temporarily caches reported or filtered content IDs during your active session to prevent loading broken or flagged media.

3. X (Twitter) Media Indexing & Playwright Search

PrunTube aggregates publicly accessible metadata dynamically from X (Twitter) 保存ランキング, Gofile.io/d/ リンク, and public X video tweets using automated Playwright search.

4. Advertising Networks & Frequency Capping

To cover server hosting costs and API bandwidth, PrunTube utilizes third-party pop-under ad networks. We strictly regulate advertising behaviors to avoid intrusive user experiences through forced frequency capping:

Site-wide Pop-under Cap

Maximum of 2 impressions per IP, with a required 10-minute minimum interval between displays, capped at 4 times total per day.

In-Player Trigger Cap

Maximum of 1 ad trigger per 24-hour period upon initiating playback in video players.
