1. Scope of Removal & Aggregator Limitations

PrunTube respects intellectual property rights and acts promptly upon receiving valid copyright notifications. However, rights holders must understand the technical operational boundaries of our service:

Action on PrunTube Directory

A verified takedown request submitted to PrunTube will result in the immediate removal and blacklisting of the title, thumbnail, and embed link from our website index.

Removal of Underlying Host File

Because PrunTube does not host video files on its servers, removing an entry from PrunTube does not remove the media file from the internet. To delete the source file, notices must be sent directly to the hosting provider.

2. Source Host Copyright Portals

To disable video files at the root hosting level, please contact the respective hosting network copyright agent directly:

3. Submitting a Notice to PrunTube

To request removal of links or metadata listings on PrunTube, please submit a written notification containing all of the following elements:

  1. Copyright Identification: Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  2. Target URLs: The exact URL(s) on PrunTube where the contested material is displayed or linked.
  3. Contact Information: Your full name, organization (if applicable), physical address, and valid email address.
  4. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Perjury Declaration: A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
